Three Towns In Walker County Hit By Cyclone

Dora, Ala., Feb. 5. – Special. – Several people are reported injured and a number of small houses blown down in a storm that struck south and east of Dora about 5 o’clock Monday afternoon.

             Telephone wires are down, but residents coming from the mining towns of Burnswell, Wyatt and Summit say that the storm struck with considerable force over a path two miles wide. No one was seriously hurt, it is said. Most of the injured were negroes.

             Trees were uprooted by the force of the wind, which was followed by a severe fall of hail.

             Relief is being provided by the local communities.
